What is wrong

ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH CRUISE CONTROL, THE CRUISE CONTROL COMPUTER CIRCUIT BOARD MAY DEVELOP A FAULT THAT MAY RESULT IN HIGH ENGINE SPEED WHEN THE ENGINE IS STARTED WITH THE MAIN CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH IN THE "ON" POSITION. IF THE TRANSMISSION (PARTICULARLY AUTOMATIC) IS PUT IN GEAR AND THE DRIVER DOES NOT PRESS FIRMLY ON THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE VEHICLE MAY SUDDENLY ACCELERATE. THIS COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND A POSSIBLE CRASH.
