iZEV — Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (Transport Canada)

Ontario

Ontario has no consumer purchase incentive on record. That does not make an electric vehicle a bad deal there — see what it would cost you to run.

Stacking: Provincial incentives generally stack with the federal one, so where both are open you can claim both. They are usually applied at the dealership rather than claimed afterwards, and most carry a manufacturer’s price ceiling — a higher trim can put an otherwise eligible model out of reach.
