On certain M3 and M4 models, a problem with the driveshaft flange may cause its disconnection. This could result in a loss of propulsion, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage.
Dealers will replace the driveshaft.

Certain vehicles may have been equipped with airbag inflators that do not meet specifications. This could cause affected airbags to fail to deploy properly in the event of a crash, which could increase the risk of injury to the occupants.
Dealers will replace affected airbag modules. Note: Depending on the vehicle in question, the front passenger, knee, side or curtain airbag modules may be affected.
Recall letters go to whoever owns the car on paper, which may not be you. Save your 2017 BMW 4 and we will email you the day Transport Canada issues a new recall for it.
