Transport Canada recall 2015366 · manufacturer campaign NTB15-040

12 August 2015

Transport Canada lists: Micra 2014–2015 · Versa 2012–2015 · Versa Note 2014–2015

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the driver's foot could contact the edge of the center console lower trim panel, which could impede smooth accelerator pedal operation. The panel edge could also catch the driver's shoe, potentially resulting in a delay in the driver being able to shift their foot from the accelerator to the brake pedal. This could increase stopping distances, potentially resulting in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will modify the lower trim panel.

Transport Canada recall 2015282

25 June 2015

Transport Canada lists: Juke 2013–2014 · Versa 2014

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, due to a manufacturing defect the start/stop button could stick inside of its housing. If this occurs, vibration could cause the electrical components inside the button to contact repeatedly in quick succession and initiate the emergency engine shut off procedure while the vehicle is in motion. This could result in increased steering and braking effort, a loss of motive power and would disable the supplemental restraint systems (SRS), increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will inspect and repair defective start/stop switch as necessary.
