What is wrong

A problem with the driver’s seat belt could cause it not to lock-up as designed during braking or in a crash.

Why it matters

A seat belt that does not lock properly in a crash could cause an increased risk of injury.

What the dealer will do

The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the driver’s seat belt assembly.

What is wrong

Certain vehicles may have been equipped with airbag inflators that do not meet specifications. This could cause affected airbags to fail to deploy properly in the event of a crash, which could increase the risk of injury to the occupants.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace affected airbag modules. Note: Depending on the vehicle in question, the front passenger, knee, side or curtain airbag modules may be affected.
