What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the pyro fuse housing may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the pyro fuse could loosen and cause damage to the electrical wiring. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, the pyro fuse may not work during a crash or part of the fuse could detach and be propelled towards the driver's feet. UPDATE - After Mercedes-Benz notified Transport Canada about this problem, they determined that there are no Canadian vehicles affected by it. Accordingly, this safety recall was withdrawn.
