What is wrong

On certain vehicles, an error with the engine software could cause the engine to stall. This would also result in a loss of power steering assist and power brake assist. A sudden engine stall, when combined with traffic and road conditions, and the driver’s reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or injury.

Dealers will update the engine software.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, liquid fuel could leak into the emissions evaporative control (EVAP) system under certain conditions. If this occurs, the EVAP system may not be able to properly filter the fuel vapors. This could cause an accumulation of fuel vapors in the EVAP system which, in the presence of an ignition source, could lead to a fire causing injury and/or damage to property.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will upgrade the EVAP system with an updated version.
