3 June 2019

Transport Canada lists: Revero 2018

Why it matters

A door that does not meet side impact requirements could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

What the dealer will do

12 April 2019

Transport Canada lists: Revero 2018

What is wrong

On certain cars, there is a problem with the airbag control unit. As a result, the side curtain airbags will not work as designed in a rollover crash.

Why it matters

In a rollover crash, the side curtain airbags would not work. This could increase the risk of injury and ejection from the vehicle.

What the dealer will do

When the parts are available, you will be sent a second letter instructing you to take your car to the company’s authorized service provider to replace the airbag control unit. In addition, the owner's manual will be updated to provide you with information about how the how the airbag warning light and side curtain airbag system work.

Transport Canada recall 2018388

23 July 2018

Transport Canada lists: Revero 2018

What is wrong

Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS 111) - Rearview Mirrors. Affected vehicles were produced with a convex driver's side exterior rearview mirror designed for the non-Canadian market, which makes objects in the mirror appear to be further away than they actually are. This could increase the risk of a crash, which could cause injury and/or property damage.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace the driver's side exterior rearview mirror as necessary.
