Certain vehicles with gasoline powered engines may be equipped with a fuel tank that could prematurely corrode and leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property.
Dealers will replace the fuel tank.

On certain trucks, the propeller shaft may not have received adequate heat treatment during the manufacturing process. As a result, the shaft may break and fall off while the vehicle is being driven. Separation of the driveshaft would result in lost propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash. In addition, once separated from the vehicle the driveshaft could cause vehicle damage or damage to other vehicles and property, and could potentially result in personal injury or death to bystanders.
Dealers will replace the propeller shaft.
Recall letters go to whoever owns the car on paper, which may not be you. Save your 2008 Isuzu NPR and we will email you the day Transport Canada issues a new recall for it.
