Transport Canada recall 2019452 · manufacturer campaign V1905

9 September 2019

Transport Canada lists: FTR 2018–2019 · N Gas 2017–2019

What is wrong

The main power wire to the relay box may have a loose connection. This could cause the wire to overheat or melt, and result in a loss of electrical power to the vehicle.

Why it matters

A loss of electrical power to the vehicle could result in an engine stall and increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to an authorized service center to inspect the main power wire bolt. If excess insulation is found, it will be trimmed and the bolt will be properly tightened. If the wire harness and/or relay box are damaged, they will be repaired or replaced.
