Transport Canada recall 2025577 · manufacturer campaign V2506

22 October 2025

Transport Canada lists: FTR 2018–2026 · FVR 2022–2026

What is wrong

On certain trucks, the front stabilizer bar brackets may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the bracket(s) could break and the stabilizer bar could detach from the truck.

Why it matters

Parts that detach from the truck could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

To reduce the safety risk, Isuzu advises you to inspect the front stabilizer bar before driving until the recall repairs have been completed. Isuzu will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to remove or replace the stabilizer bar, stabilizer bar brackets, leaf spring assemblies and/or stabilizer plates, as necessary.

Transport Canada recall 2021679 · manufacturer campaign 21V861

5 November 2021

Transport Canada lists: FTR 2018–2021

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the jam nut for the steering stopper bolt on the left-front knuckle may loosen and allow the bolt to back away from the knuckle. This could result in an increase in the turning radius of the vehicle in left turns. A change in turning radius could make it difficult to make sharp turns. Note: This recall replaces V1902 (Transport Canada recall 2019-306). Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.

Why it matters

If a vehicle's turning radius is increased, there could be an increased risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the jam nuts on the steering stopper bolts with new Spiralock nuts. The bolts and extensions will also be cleaned and/or replaced, as necessary.

Transport Canada recall 2020143 · manufacturer campaign DET-20-063

3 April 2020

Transport Canada lists: FTR 2018–2020

What is wrong

On certain trucks, the wire harness from the relay box was not properly routed. As result, the wire harness could be damaged by contact with the leaf spring hanger bracket. If this happens, the engine could stall. This can also cause the anti-lock brake system (ABS) not to work properly. A damaged wire harness could also cause a short circuit.

Why it matters

A sudden loss of engine power could create the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of ABS could also increase the risk of a crash. In addition, a short circuit could create the risk of fire.

What the dealer will do

Isuzu will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the wire harness for damage. If necessary, it will be replaced. Additional clamps will be installed to move the harness away from the leaf spring hanger bracket.
