What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the driveshaft may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the driveshaft could break and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, if the vehicle is parked and the parking brake isn't applied, the vehicle could roll away. Note: This recall only affects two-wheel-drive (2WD) models.

Why it matters

A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A parked vehicle that rolls away could also create the risk of an injury or a crash.

What the dealer will do

Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driveshaft.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the fuel pressure sensor connected to the engine fuel delivery rail may not have been sufficiently tightened during vehicle assembly. Should the pressure sensor loosen, fuel could leak past a gasket used in the connection between the sensor and the rail. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will inspect the pressure sensor and tighten to specification. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2012-074. Vehicles that were repaired under the previous campaign are not affected because that remedy would have corrected the subject condition.

What is wrong

On certain hybrid vehicles, a defect in engine control module programming could cause a gradual throttle increase without driver input, which could cause vehicle speed to increase. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

Dealers will update vehicle software. Note: Applying the brake would allow the vehicle to be slowed or stopped.
