What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the owner's manual may be missing. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Note: For the Escalade model, the recall also affects certain 2026 model year Escalade IQ and Escalade IQL models.

What is wrong

On a small number of vehicles, a connection in the wiring for the passenger-front airbag may not have been secured properly and could loosen. As a result, the airbag may not inflate in a crash.

Why it matters

An airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

What the dealer will do

None of the affected vehicles have been delivered to customers. General Motors will instruct dealers to repair the wiring for the passenger-front airbag before each vehicle is delivered.
