Transport Canada recall 2025662 · manufacturer campaign R0295/51D323

1 December 2025

Transport Canada lists: G 90 2023–2026

What is wrong

Under certain conditions, the front corner radar could falsely detect another vehicle in its lane. If this happens, the vehicle could brake suddenly.

Why it matters

A vehicle that brakes suddenly when there is no risk of collision could increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

To reduce the safety risk, Genesis advises not to use the highway driving assist (HDA) feature until the recall repairs have been completed. Genesis will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the front bumper beam.
