What is wrong

Certain vehicles do not comply with CMVSS 104 - Windshield Wiping and Washing Systems. Malfunctioning microprocessor may cause a "latch-up" condition in the wiper system controller. If this occurs, the operator will not be able to operate the system in both the low and high-speed modes required by the standard.

Dealers will replace the windshield wiper motor cover which contains the microprocessor..
