What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the mounting points for the rear seat belts may not be properly manufactured. This could cause a seat belt to fail in a crash.

Why it matters

An occupant that is not properly restrained has a greater chance of being injured in a crash.

What the dealer will do

The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to an authorized dealer to have the body structure modified to improve the strength of the rear seat belt mount.
