What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the potential exists, following disconnection, for the quick connector not to be fully re-engaged. This would eventually result in a loss of fuel that, in the presence of an ignition sources, creates a risk of a vehicle fire. Disconnection is a requirement for some service operations.

What the dealer will do

Dealer will remove the quick release collar, ensure full engagement and fit a safety clip.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the fuel pipe in the engine compartment may be out of position. This could cause a foul with either an adjacent brake pipe or modulator pump, which could result in eventual abrasive damage to either pipe and possible leakage.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the flexible hose carrying central hydraulic system (CHS) fluid between the regulator and the accumulator could leak. Leaking CHS fluid could deplete the reservoir and in an extreme case, cause a loss of power assist to the steering and brake systems.

What the dealer will do

Dealer will replace the CHS fluid hose.
