What is wrong

On certain vehicles, it is possible that the front airbags may not deploy in a crash as designed, due to an improper algorithm/coding within the airbag control module. Front seat occupants may not have the intended protection from the frontal airbag system in crash events where second stage deployment is warranted. This could increase the risk of injury to the front seat occupants.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will adjust the airbag control unit deployment parameter.
