What is wrong

On certain Audi R8 Spyder, the fuel supply line may contact and rub against the heat shield in the engine compartment. This could cause a fuel leak which, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will inspect the fuel line for damage and replace it if necessary. Dealers will also inspect and, as needed, adjust the position of the fuel line and heat shield in order to ensure correct clearance between the two.
