What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the brake booster input rod may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the input rod could detach from the brake booster and cause a loss of brakes. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2024-670. For 2020-2024 model years, this recall affects both Sportback and SUV models.

Why it matters

A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the brake booster input rod screw joint.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear.

Why it matters

A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.

What is wrong

On a small number of vehicles, connections on the brake pressure lines may have been over-tightened. As a result, brake fluid could leak and cause reduced braking. If this happens, you may experience a change in brake pedal feel and travel. Note: This problem could cause a "Brake fluid level low" warning message to display.

Why it matters

Reduced braking can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash.

Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the connections on the brake pressure lines and, if necessary, replace the affected brake pressure lines.
