What is wrong

On certain vehicles, a defect in the transmission control switch could cause the transmission to shift to the neutral gear position without driver input, resulting in a loss of motive power. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace affected transmission control switches.
