On certain vehicles, a seal in the brake master cylinder could become damaged. As a result, brake fluid could leak into the reservoir and there could be reduced braking.

Why it matters

Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.

Acura will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the brake master cylinder.

What is wrong

This recall is for low-pressure fuel pumps installed on certain vehicles or sold at dealerships as a replacement part. On certain vehicles, the low-pressure fuel pump could fail. If this happens, the engine may run rough or may not start and the check engine light may turn on. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2023-679. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair.

A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel pump motor.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the bottom of the fuel tank could be deformed. This could cause the fuel gauge to display the wrong fuel level. This could cause a driver to believe there is fuel when the tank is empty.

Why it matters

The vehicle could unexpectedly run out of fuel and stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer for an inspection of the fuel tank. All affected fuel tanks will be replaced.
