Good news: Recall repairs cost you nothing. Book with any manufacturer dealer and quote the recall number — they are required to do the work free of charge, with no time limit and regardless of how many owners the car has had.
Note: This lookup is by make, model and year, so it lists every recall issued for that vehicle — not all of which will apply to your exact build. A dealer can confirm what is outstanding on your VIN in a minute.

19 June 2026

Transport Canada lists: Chief 2026

What is wrong

On certain motorcycles, the compliance label may list the wrong rim sizes. As a result, when the rims are replaced, the wrong rims could be installed. This could cause poor handling or a tire failure.

Why it matters

Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of vehicle control and result in a crash.

What the dealer will do

Indian Motorcycle will mail a new compliance label to each owner. If you would like help to install it, you can contact an Indian Motorcycle dealer to have it installed free of charge.
