What is wrong

On certain RV trailers, the wrong heating pads may have been installed for the 12 V battery. As a result, the battery could overheat.

Why it matters

A battery that overheats can create the risk of a fire.

What the dealer will do

To reduce the safety risk, Alliance RV advises not to use the 12 V battery heating pads until the recall repairs are completed. Alliance RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the heating pads.

What is wrong

On a small number of RV trailers, the electrical outlet in the front bathroom doesn't have ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection.

Why it matters

An electrical outlet that doesn't have ground-fault protection could create a risk of shock or electrocution.

What the dealer will do

To reduce the safety risk, Alliance RV advises not to use the outlet in the front bathroom until the recall repairs are completed. Alliance RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to install ground-fault protection to the front bathroom outlet.
