What is wrong

On certain vehicles, covers were not installed over the horizontal headlamp adjusters. As a result, the headlamps may be adjusted horizontally. Canadian regulations do not allow for horizontal headlamp adjustment unless the vehicle is equipped with a built-in aiming device.

Why it matters

Headlamps that are not properly adjusted could cause reduced visibility or glare for oncoming drivers, and increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install caps over the headlamp adjustment screws.

What is wrong

Certain vehicles may have been equipped with a front passenger airbag that does not meet specifications. This could cause the front passenger airbag to fail to deploy properly in the event of a crash that warrants deployment of the passenger frontal airbag, which could increase the risk of injury to the occupants.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace front passenger airbag module.

Certain vehicles may have been equipped with side airbag inflators (located in the front seat backrests) that do not meet specifications. This could cause affected airbags to fail to deploy properly in the event of a lateral crash, which could increase the risk of injury to the occupants.
