Also the Tire and Loading Information label may bear an incorrect (lower than actual) maximum capacity weight.

What is wrong

Certain vehicles may not comply with the side impact protection requirements of United States Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 214, which is voluntarily-adopted in Canada. As a result, rear seat occupants could be at a higher risk of injury in a side-impact crash.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will modify the left and right rear seat interior side panels to increase their energy absorbing performance.

What is wrong

Certain vehicles may fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 114 - Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention. During service appointments with dealers, the automatic transmission control unit may have been inadvertently programmed with software that does not conform to the standard. As a result, drivers could exit the vehicle and may not realize that the vehicle's transmission is not in the PARK position. If this were to occur without the parking brake applied, the vehicle could roll away, which could result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will reprogram the automatic transmission control unit software.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the passenger frontal airbag may have been incorrectly assembled, which could cause the airbag to deploy improperly. This could increase the risk of injury to the front passenger in a crash where airbag deployment is warranted.
