What is wrong

On certain SL320, SL500 and SL600 vehicles, corrosion of the electrical ignition filament of the supplementary restraint system (SRS) gas generator module may occur if the vehicle is operated in areas of frequently high humidity. Corrosion of the ignition filament may result in the driver's airbag being deployed inadvertently.

What the dealer will do

Driver's airbags will be inspected and replaced where necessary.
