What is wrong

Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection. Improper passenger airbag folding could prevent the airbag from inflating as intended. A front passenger airbag that does not inflate as intended during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of injury to the front passenger occupant.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace the passenger airbag module.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the driver's knee airbag may have been folded incorrectly at time of assembly. This could cause irregular airbag deployment, which could increase the risk of injury to an unbelted driver in a crash that warrants airbag deployment.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace the airbag. Note: Drivers and passengers should always wear their seatbelt.
