Transport Canada issued 1 vehicle recall in the week of 31 August 2026, covering about 5 vehicles in Canada. The systems involved: label.

Good news: If one of these covers your vehicle, the repair is almost certainly free. Book with any manufacturer dealer and quote the recall number. Transport Canada’s own wording is that a manufacturer “will almost always make these repairs free of charge”, so being asked to pay for recall work is unusual and worth questioning. Since 2018 the Minister of Transport can order a company to pay for repairs so owners do not bear the cost.

On a small number of motorhomes, the compliance label doesn't list the correct tire size. The label incorrectly lists the tire size as 275/80R/22.5, when it should list the tires as 295/75R/22.5H. As a result, when the tires are replaced, the wrong tires could be installed. This could cause poor handling and/or a tire failure.

Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do: Jayco will mail a new compliance label to each owner. If you'd like help to install the label, you can contact a Jayco dealership to have it installed free of charge.
