Structure

On certain vehicles, moisture could enter the driver-side door lock microswitch and cause it to corrode. As a result, the microswitch may fail to automatically engage the parking brake and/or the auto park feature when the door is opened. If this happens, the vehicle could roll away. Note: This problem could also cause the radio and/or interior lights to remain on after exiting the vehicle.
A parked vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you should always use the parking brake when you park. Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver-side door lock.

On certain buses, the wrong washers may have been installed on the rear leaf spring hangers. As a result, the leaf spring could detach from the hanger. This could lead to poor handling and a loss of vehicle control.
A loss of control could create the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: ARBOC will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to replace the washers on the rear leaf spring hangers.

On certain motorcycles, the ignition lock could wear and lose electrical contact. As a result, the engine could stall while riding. This could also cause the brake lamp, turn signals, anti-lock brake system (ABS) and instrument cluster not to work.
A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. A brake lamp or turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when a rider is braking, intends to turn, or change lanes, increasing the risk of a crash. In addition, a loss of ABS function could extend stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: BMW Motorrad will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

On a small number of RV trailers, the circuit board(s) for the rooftop ventilation fan(s) may not have been manufactured correctly and could overheat. Note: This recall only affects certain trailers equipped with MaxxAir rooftop ventilation fans.
A circuit board that overheats could create the risk of a fire.
What the dealer will do: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the ventilation fan circuit board(s).

On certain RV trailers, the compliance label may list the wrong fresh water holding tank capacity. This could lead to overloading of the trailer and cause poor handling or a tire failure.
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.
What the dealer will do: Forest River will mail a new compliance label to each owner. If you'd like help to install the label, you can contact a Forest River dealership to have it installed free of charge.

This recall is for headlamp assemblies installed on certain vehicles or sold as a replacement part. Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the low beam headlamps not to be bright enough after switching from high to low beam.
Headlamps that aren't bright enough can reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse.
A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the rearview camera software.

On certain vehicles, the engine wiring harness may not have enough protection and could become damaged by contact with surrounding components. As a result, the wiring harness could short circuit.
A short circuit can create the risk of a fire.
What the dealer will do: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install additional protection on the engine wiring harness. The dealer will also repair or replace the engine wiring harness, as necessary.

On certain digger derricks, the pole guide plate may not have been welded properly. As a result, the weld could crack, and the retaining pin could separate. If this happens, the pole guide arm could fall.
A pole guide arm that falls could create a risk of injury to people nearby.
What the dealer will do: Terex will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and replace the pole guide plate, as necessary. Terex advises you to perform a daily inspection of the pole guide plate welds, and not to use the digger derrick if a weld is cracked.

On certain child car seats, the adjustable headrest may change position in a crash when installed in forward-facing mode with the headrest in positions 10 or 11. Canadian regulations require that the position of the headrest remains the same. Note: This recall only affects REO convertible car seats manufactured between February 2025 and June 2026.
A headrest that changes positions in a crash could increase the risk of injury.
What the dealer will do: Evenflo will notify registered owners in writing and provide you with a remedy kit. Evenflo advises that you may continue to use the seat in forward-facing mode with any headrest position other than 10 or 11, or in rear-facing mode with any headrest position other than 11. On certain motorcycles, the turn signal bulbs may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the bulb(s) could fail, and the turn signal(s) may not work.
Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when the rider intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the turn signal bulbs.

On certain buses, a brake line could become damaged by contact with an exhaust hanger cotter pin. This could lead to a brake fluid leak and cause reduced braking.
Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, brake fluid that leaks onto hot exhaust components could create a fire risk.
What the dealer will do: Blue Bird will notify owners by mail and provide instructions for replacing the exhaust hanger cotter pin and, if necessary, replacement of the brake line. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed at a Blue Bird dealership.
