On a small number of motorhomes, the circuit board(s) for the rooftop ventilation fans may not have been manufactured correctly and could overheat. Note: This recall only affects certain motorhomes equipped with MaxxAir rooftop ventilation fans.
A circuit board that overheats could create the risk of a fire.
What the dealer will do: Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the ventilation fan circuit board(s).

Steering

On certain trucks, the fasteners that secure the steering arms to the steering knuckles may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the steering arms could loosen and cause a loss of steering control.
A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the fasteners for the steering arms. The dealer will also replace any damaged components, as necessary.

On a small number of RV trailers, the compliance label lists the wrong gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). This could lead to overloading of the trailer and cause poor handling or a tire failure.
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of vehicle control and result in a crash.
What the dealer will do: Forest River will mail a new compliance label to each owner. If you would like help to install the label, you can contact a Forest River dealership to have it installed free of charge.

Brakes

On certain trucks, the quick-release valve in the trailer air brake connection may have been installed backwards. As a result, the trailer brakes may not apply or release correctly.
Trailer brakes that don't apply or release correctly could make the trailer unstable during braking.
What the dealer will do: A PACCAR dealer has already repaired the affected trucks by correctly installing the quick-release valve.

On certain vehicles, water could leak into the starter relay and cause it to corrode. If this happens, the relay could short circuit and the starter could overheat. Note: This recall only affects plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models.
A short circuit and/or a starter that overheats can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, BMW advises that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. BMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the engine starter.

On certain vehicles, the engine starter may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the starter could overheat. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2026-040.
A starter that overheats can create the risk of a fire.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, BMW recommends not using the remote start function and not leaving the vehicle unattended with the engine running until the recall repairs have been completed. BMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the engine starter.

On certain vehicles, the rear axle carriers (knuckles) may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the rear knuckle(s) could break and separate at the toe control arm mounting point. If this happens, there could be a loss of vehicle stability.
A loss of vehicle stability could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and replace the rear axle carrier sub-assemblies, as necessary.

Label

On certain vehicles, the compliance label lists an incorrect gross axle weight rating (GAWR). This could lead you to overload the vehicle, which could cause poor handling or a tire failure. Note: For the Forester model, this recall affects both gas and hybrid models. For the Crosstrek model, only the Crosstrek Hybrid model is affected.
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
