Transport Canada issued 12 vehicle recalls in the week of 29 June 2026, covering about 77,374 vehicles in Canada. The systems involved: electrical, visual system, structure, seats and restraints, brakes, lights and instruments.

On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Kia dealer during service campaign RC207 (Transport Canada recall number 2024-323) may not have been done correctly and/or may not be effective. As a result, another repair is required. Under certain conditions, the switch for the driver- and/or passenger-front power seat motor(s) could become stuck and cause the seat motor(s) not to stop. If this happens, the motor(s) could overheat. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024-323. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.
A seat motor that overheats can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, Kia advises that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. Kia will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install an electronic fuse for the power seats.

On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Honda dealer during recall O38 (Transport Canada recall no. 2020-345) may not be effective. As a result, certain vehicles require a second repair. On certain vehicles, moisture could enter the rearview camera and cause it not to work properly. If this happens, the rearview image may be distorted or not display at all. Also, the camera image may not appear in certain bright light conditions. Note: This recall replaces recall O38 (Transport Canada recall no. 2020-345). Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.
A rearview camera image that doesn't display properly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rearview camera.

Structure

On certain vehicles, the rear subframe bolt(s) may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the bolt(s) could loosen and the rear subframe could detach. This could lead to poor handling and a loss of vehicle control.
Poor handling and a loss of control can create the risk of a crash. A rear subframe that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace and/or tighten the rear subframe bolt(s).

Seats And Restraints

On certain vehicles, the rear outboard seat belts may contain defective automatic locking retractors (ALR). As a result, the seat belts may not properly lock to secure a child seat. Note: The vehicle's lower universal anchorage system (UAS) is not affected by this defect and may still be used to secure a child seat.
A seat belt that is used to secure a child restraint but is not properly locked could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, Nissan recommends using the vehicle's UAS system when securing a child seat. Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear outboard seat belt(s).

On a small number of RV trailers, the inverter may not have been grounded.
An inverter that's not grounded could create a risk of shock or electrocution. This could also create the risk of a fire.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, Heartland RV advises not to use the inverter until the recall repairs have been completed. Heartland RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to install a ground for the inverter.

On certain vehicles, the exterior B-pillar trims on the front and rear driver-side and passenger-side doors may not be properly attached. As a result, the trim(s) could loosen and separate from the vehicle. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2025-588.
Trim that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to secure the exterior B-pillar trims.

On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a BMW dealer during Transport Canada recall number 2024-456 may not have been done correctly. As a result, another repair is required. On certain vehicles, a problem with the integrated brake system could cause reduced power brake assist. As a result, there may be reduced braking, and the antilock braking system (ABS) and dynamic stability control (DSC) may not work.
Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, antilock brakes and stability control systems that don't work could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the integrated brake system.

On certain vehicles, the headlamp assemblies could cause the parking lamps and daytime running lights (DRLs) not to work, or to flicker. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with premium headlamp assemblies.
Parking lamps and/or daytime running lights (DRLs) that don't work properly could make the vehicle less visible to other road users. This could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, replace the headlamp assemblies.

On certain vehicles, a problem with the windshield wiper motor could cause it not to work properly in cold temperatures. If this happens, the windshield wipers may only operate at their high-speed setting and the windshield washing system may not work.

On certain vehicles, the software update installed by a Ford dealer during recall 25SA2 (Transport Canada recall no. 2025-547) may not be effective. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the pedestrian alert system not to work properly. Note: This recall only affects hybrid electric vehicles. This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2025-547. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.
A pedestrian alert system that doesn't work properly could create confusion and increase the risk of injury for other road users.
What the dealer will do: Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the accessory protocol image module (APIM) software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership. For certain Nautilus vehicles, owners will be advised to take their vehicle to a dealership to replace the digital signal processor (DSP) module.

On certain vehicles, the differential pinion shaft could break and cause a loss of power to the wheels. This could also cause the vehicle to move when the transmission is in Park, if the parking brake is not used. Note: This recall only affects rear-wheel drive models.
A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a parked vehicle that moves suddenly could create the risk of an injury or a crash.
What the dealer will do: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to repair or replace the rear differential assembly, as necessary.
