On certain hybrid vehicles, a problem in the hybrid power control unit (HPCU) could cause it to overheat. Note: This problem could cause the vehicle not to start or to enter a reduced power mode and the malfunction indicator lamp to display.
An HPCU that overheats can create a fire risk.
What the dealer will do: Hyundai will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the HPCU software.

Airbag

On certain vehicles, the driver-front airbag inflator could rupture when the airbag deploys in a crash. If this happens, the airbag may not fully inflate and fragments could be propelled toward vehicle occupants.
An airbag inflator that ruptures can create a risk of injury or death.
What the dealer will do: Hyundai will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver-front airbag inflator.

On certain vehicles, water could leak into the rearview camera and cause the rearview camera image not to display correctly or at all.
A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rearview camera.

Wheels

This recall is for certain vehicles equipped with 24-inch wheels that had a dealer-installed accessory brake package or had the front hubs replaced during service. On certain vehicles, the wrong bolts may have been used during installation of the accessory brake package or during service or replacement of the front wheel hub bearings. As a result, the bolts could loosen and cause poor handling and a loss of control. Additionally, this could cause the front wheel(s) to separate from the vehicle.
A loss of control could create the risk of a crash. A wheel that separates could create a road hazard for others.
What the dealer will do: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the front left and right wheel hub bolts.

Powertrain

On certain vehicles, the inverter for the drive unit could fail and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Note: This recall only affects certain Air Pure rear-wheel drive models.
A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Lucid will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle to install an advanced diagnostic software that will monitor the inverter and warn you if it detects a problem. If you see this warning, you should contact a Lucid Service Center or Lucid Customer Care to arrange for the replacement of the inverter, as necessary.

On certain vehicles, the hard top roof panels may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, sections of the exterior panels could separate and detach from the vehicle while driving. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with a molded-in-colour hard top.
A section of roof that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the hard top.

Structure

On certain transit buses, the plastic glazing panel on the interior door separating the driver from the passengers may not have the required marking. As a result, the missing information could lead you to install the wrong panel. Canadian regulations require a marking to identify the type of glazing panel used.
An incorrect panel could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to replace the plastic glazing panel with one that has the correct markings.

Seats And Restraints

On a small number of vehicles, the audio amplifier may have been damaged during manufacturing. As a result, the seat belt reminder chime may not work when your seat belt isn't buckled. Canadian regulations require a seat belt reminder sound when a driver isn't wearing their seat belt.
A seat belt warning that doesn't work correctly may not remind you to buckle your seat belt. Not wearing your seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
What the dealer will do: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the audio amplifier.
